Series Overview
This is a cult Franco-Japanese animated series, originally broadcast in the 1980s, which has marked several generations with its unique blend of adventure, mystery, and history.
The series follows the adventures of Esteban, a young boy nicknamed the “Child of the Sun,” accompanied by Zia and Tao, in their quest for the legendary Cities of Gold across South America. Assisted by the Spanish sailor Mendoza and his companions Sancho and Pedro, they encounter various peoples and civilizations, uncovering mysteries and hidden treasures.
