The City Hunter \/ Nicky Larson license was acquired by Custom Arts from Sunrise in 2008. It is a cult Japanese animated series, originally broadcast in the 1980s, which has left its mark on multiple generations with its unique blend of action, humor, and romance, combining thrilling adventures with police intrigues. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we were unable to complete this project in 2008. In 2025, we reacquired the rights to revive the project, still under the artistic direction of Philippe Dessoly, responsible for character design, packaging, and lithography. <\/p>\n

Series Overview<\/b><\/h3>\n

City Hunter follows the adventures of Ryo Saeba, a private detective and sharpshooter in Tokyo. Nicknamed the \u201cCity Hunter\u201d, he specializes in protecting his clients and tracking down criminals, often with a flamboyant style and a laid-back attitude. <\/p>\n

Always accompanied by his partner Kaori Makimura, Ryo balances dangerous missions with comedic situations. The series skillfully blends action, romance, and humor while exploring crime and suspense-filled storylines. <\/p>\n

Products Under Development<\/b><\/h3>\n

As part of this license, we will be launching four 1\/6 scale figurines. Each figurine will be accompanied by a diorama, an exclusive lithograph signed by Philippe Dessoly, and a certificate of authenticity..
